Why Is Allah Referred To As US, OUR & HE In The Qur’an?
Ammar Alshukry

We know Allah is ONE. He has no partner. There is no one like Him. If this is what we are always taught, then why do translations of Qur'an refer to Allah as "Us" or "Our" or "He"?

The use of the royal pronoun 'we' indicates power, nobility, and can be used to refer to something that involves the work of the angels. In Arabic, the default is that every object must be defined as either feminine or masculine, but that doesn't mean it is actually female or male. Allah SWT is without gender, but the usage of the masculine term is the default in Arabic grammar.

Shaykh Ammar AlShukry explains.
