Fasting is one of the pillars of our Deen. Fasting becomes obligatory upon each Muslim when the month of Ramadan becomes upon us. What is the ruling in regards to a person who is very ill and is unable to fast?
If the sickness is a sickness that cannot be cured or controlled in the future, then fasting is not obligated. Instead, they can feed a person a day.
