A Muslim woman is in the state of Hidaad (mourning period), this period is a waiting period after her husband's death for 4 months and 10 days. If a woman is pregnant, her waiting period is until she delivers the baby.
There is a debate amongst sahabas on how this issue is viewed. Aisha رضي الله عنه , Ibn abbas and Al Hassan amongst the many others said the women in her hidaad can spend her night wherever she wants. The waiting is in regards to not getting engaged, married or to put perfume. There is no restriction on where to wait and she shouldn't be restricted to her husband's home.
On the other hand other group of scholars say she has to stay in the house of her husband. This is the position of Umar and Uthman رضي الله عنه amongst many others. Majority of the fuqaha said she is not supposed to go for Hajj. Because Hajj can be done later on unless she is already in the state of Ihram and then hears the news of her husband passing away. If this is the only opportunity you have then you are allowed to go for Hajj since going to Hajj isn't easy. Aishah perfomed Umrah رضي الله عنه along with a woman during her Iddah.
